YahLive brings home Satellite Services Provider of the Year Award

YahLive, a known HDTV satellite platform for the MENA (Middle East, North Africa) region, has been given the Satellite Services Provider of the Year award during the ninth edition of the Digital Studio Awards 2013 held in Dubai.

The satellite platform is a joint venture company between YahSat and SES, and has generated a total of 50 HD channels, representing 50 percent of all HD channels broadcast in the Middle East and North Africa. Channels like Abu Dhabi Media, Cartoon Network Arabia, Dubai Media Incorporated, MBC and Saudi TV are part of the line-up. European channels that appeal to viewers are also included in the line-up.

YahLive CEO Mohamed Youssif commented on the recent milestone that the company achieved. He said, “We are delighted to be recognised as the Middle East and North Africa’s leading satellite service provider and will continue to honour our commitment as the region’s exclusive HD hotspot to delivering the best quality satellite broadcast technology and services to our partners and viewers.”
